Tino Makamba serves as the Research & Development Officer (RDO) of NexZim Enterprises, where he leads the organization's research strategy, technology innovation programs, product experimentation initiatives, and future technology development efforts. As a senior member of the executive leadership team, he is responsible for driving the discovery, design, and development of innovative technologies that will shape the future of NexZim and its digital ecosystem.

With a passion for innovation, emerging technologies, and problem-solving, Tino oversees the Research & Development Department's mission of transforming visionary ideas into practical, scalable, and commercially viable solutions. His work focuses on identifying technological opportunities, evaluating emerging trends, conducting strategic research, and leading the development of next-generation products that address African challenges through technology.

As Research & Development Officer, Tino plays a central role in advancing NexZim's long-term innovation agenda. He leads initiatives in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, accessibility technologies, digital platforms, automation systems, local-language technologies, and future-focused research projects that strengthen the company's competitive advantage.

Under his leadership, the Research & Development Department serves as the innovation engine of NexZim, exploring new technologies, building prototypes, conducting feasibility studies, and developing intellectual property that contributes to the company's growth and sustainability. He works closely with other departments to ensure that research outcomes translate into products, services, and solutions capable of delivering measurable impact.
